- Julien PERREZ and Pauline HEYVAERT are members of the Association for Researching and Applying Metaphor (RaAM). The Researching and Applying Metaphor Association is an international association gathering metaphor scholars from all around the world. Together with François Randour (UCLouvain), they organized the 2019 RaAM Seminar at the University of Liège, bringing together 72 researchers from 24 countries.

- The site bezettestad.uliege.be has been created to make the results of Erik SPINOY’s research on Paul van Ostaijen's Bezette Stad (Occupied City) available to scholars and specialists, but also to a wider audience. It contains the text of the book, which will to an ever greater extent be elucidated and illustrated by means of hyperlinks. The site will also offer a comprehensive general introduction to the various aspects of the book (genesis, publication and reception, biographical circumstances, references to the wider context in Antwerp (19183-1918) and Berlin (1918)) and a dynamic bibliography. The website has been built by the CIPL (Faculty of Arts, ULiege), thanks to funding by Lilith.

- An VAN LINDEN and Dana LOUAGIE are affiliated with the research group Functional and Cognitive linguistics: Grammar and Typology (FunC) at the KU Leuven.
- Several of our members are affiliated with the Association des néerlandistes de Belgique francophone et de France (ANBF).
- The King Willem-Alexander Chair for Dutch Studies was created at the University of Liège in June 2017 as the result of a collaboration between the ULiège and the Embassy of the Netherlands. It aims to promote the study of Dutch language, literature and culture, and allows the University of Liège to invite eminent Dutch academics of international stature to give scientific lectures and seminars.
